Some of the people that have seen the beta of the WPIntranet Theme, asked me why I’m using WordPress for my project.

The answer is very simple: Ease of use.

I need a fast and easy way to deploy an Intranet (I’m a consultant and hopefully I’ll be installing one of this per month at least). Also, I need to train people to use it and pretty much everyone agrees that WordPress has one of the friendlier administration interface which means a shorter learning curve.

We all know that WordPress has a lot of constrains as a full fledged CMS… but still, it excells in so many areas that it feels more comfortable working with it than some other systems.
